  The location is unbeatable for a city break in Cologne. Walking distance everywhere and great restaurants and shopping on your doorstep. It’s perfectly clean and functional. The staff is friendly. Really good value for money for a trip with friends.
  
  What could be improved: Ask for a quiet room facing the courtyard, as the streets around can get noisy at night. Long queues at check in/out as there is never enough reception staff. Had to ask for additional pillows as the one provided were so thin. The hotel itself is a bit dated (but clean). If you are looking for a romantic get away, look somewhere else.

  Nice room. Hotel well decorated and very clean. Friendly / helpful staff.
  
  What could be improved: No tea or coffee make facilities in the room. Also, the room was very hot and no aircon to cool it down. Was a bit noisy in our room on the Hohenzollernring side of the hotel (maybe down to Christmas Market). Thought breakfast was a bit overpriced based on the quality and selection of food.

  Good location – about 20min walk from the Dom. My room was comfortable and it seems that in a section of the hotel that has been recently remodeled.

  Just off a major route onto the city, easy to find, Underground car park , a ton of eating /drinking /shopping on the doorstep. Reception staff were very helpful. Easy access to s-bahn but also a pleasant walk into the city centre in 15 minutes.
  
  What could be improved: Just one little thing – needs another coffee machine at breakfast. The hotel was packed with football fans on our stay and the queues were crazy, just for coffee.
