  We arrived early in Cologne and we had arranged to leave our bags at the office of the owner so we could enjoy the city until check-in time. They were extremely accommodating. The apartment is great, very quirky but big and very comfortable, we had the best night's sleep. It is only a 5 mins stroll from the station and beyond that is the beautiful cathedral, everything is so close, a brilliant location for sightseeing!

  It’s a spacious apartment but basic. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bathroom/toilet doors are not an issue anymore – they work fine. Heating works well. We were a couple so no problems as we only used one bathroom. If two couples you may need to work around the fridge being in a bedroom. That being said it was a comfortable stay for us. Very close to the Central Station yet quiet and peaceful.
  
  What could be improved: No microwave and no plates or bowls – just cutlery and 3 mugs and 3 glasses.

  Property was very central and close to Cologne HBF so walking distance to all main areas. Property is better than the photos you show with everything you need available. No kitchen but this was explained prior to the visit and not needed anyway.
  
  What could be improved: The directions could be slightly easier as google maps kept saying it was 30 mins walk away. In welcome notes I would suggest " come out of HBF station, not Cathedral side, and you will see a large office building with HRS in red letters. It is the road behind there, two minutes from the station"

  Location is good, quite close to the train station. It is suitable for family living. There are two rooms with two big twinbeds. We enjoyed a good sleep.
  
  What could be improved: But I cannot see the dome from the windows, which is different from the pictures. And there is a big bathtub where should be a kitchen.

  – the host was very nice, accepting a late check in (01.20 am) and sending us the instructions for the key in advance
  – the location is awesome, next to the train station and very easy to find
  – the place was small but clean and tidy.
  
  What could be improved: – don't know if it's a german thing, but there were no nornal net curtains, just dark curtains to contain the light. I dont really like to keep my windows visible from outside when I change or hang around. This could be fixed.
  – the cleaning staff should be notified when there are guests in the property, so as not to come by surprise and scare everyone in the early morning hours

  Quirky, spacious, clean apartment close to the train station which was excellent as a stop over for us. There is a lovely bakery just up the street.
