What I really appreciated was how easy it made exploring different parts of Cologne. Weiden sits right between the city center and some of the more interesting outer neighborhoods, so you’re not stuck in that weird tourist bubble. The public transport connections are solid (there’s a tram stop that’ll get you to the main station without any fussing around), but you’re also close enough to places like Ehrenfeld – which is where you want to be for the better bars and restaurants that locals actually go to. Parking was straightforward too, which saved me from that particular European city nightmare. The only minor thing I’d mention is that it can get a bit quiet in the evenings, but that’s honestly more of a feature than a bug if you’re planning to spend your days walking around the cathedral and museums and just want somewhere peaceful to recharge. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying in Cologne, not just visiting it.

  Great view, nice to have a kitchen with a door. Excellent hot water and pressure in shower. It was chilly to use the balcony but it looked nice. Tram was close.

  What could be improved: Bed bugs bite all of us . No acceptable to stay there and no healthy to stay . Once recognized bad bugs and we all affected by bed bugs we left the property moved to another hotel . This is terrible experience with booking and this apartment in Cologne Germany .

  Clean and spacious place. Perfect for group of friends or a couple. Really good contact with host. Apartment located around 45 minutes from Lanxess Arena, directly connected to it. That was really important for us as we were attending EHF Final Four event.
  
  What could be improved: Neighbour cleaned her's balcony everytime as we were outside. I don't know if that was some form of control from her however it made us a little bit anxious. Apart from that – no bad experiences 😉

  I loved the location of the apartment and the cleanliness. The busstop was about 5mins walk from the apartment and the tram stop was about 10mins from the apartment. There's a mall just across from the tram stop and that was so convenient. The host was super 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾. Such a lovely woman. She rushed back so early in the morning when my sister mistakenly locked herself outside. Thank you so much. Will book again 🤗
