  Excellent river front location. 11 min walk to train station. Plenty of restaurants nearby including the hotels own with great breakfast Buffett.

  Very central in Køln. Close so everything downtown. Very good view of the river and nightlife in Køln from the room. And even if there was a lot og people and noice right outside, the room var very quite when we closed the window. Good service from the nice personell and a satisfactory breakfast.

  Great location (on the river Rhine and a short walk to the cathedral) and good for money. I read some of the comments before I arrived and was unsure what to expect. It is a quiant hotel/restaurant with polite and helpful staff. The room I was given was clean, and the bed was really comfortable ( the room wasn't huge but good enough for me). The lamp by the bed did not work and there was a crack in the shower hose (i reported both to reception, and they were fixed the same day). Every day the staff offered to clean the room. Breakfast was included and was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

  Location is amazing. The staff are fantastic and lovely. Air conditioning worked and was needed in this heat. Breakfast had perfect scrambled eggs the way I like, not moist or sloppy. Good sausages and bacon.
  
  What could be improved: Shower cubicle was small but we did have a twin room, so maybe that was the reason for this. Not sure if double rooms have larger facilities than we had. Our room didn’t have great views but the windows opened which was lovely and there was no fridge in the room to store water for kettle or hydration. No pastries at breakfast and options were limited.
