  Very good location and spotless interior. Kids loved the table football. Spacious and well lit. Literally round the corner from pedestrianised area, with shops, cafes and leading all the way to centre of old town. Parking also possible just a few metres away at end of road. You might need to repark on street overnight though.
  
  What could be improved: Entry instructions could be improved a little. Broken shutter to apartment leading to first access door needs fixing as otherwise can serve as a focus for vagrants and unwanted toilet. Owner very apologetic and said it's a priority for them.
  A minor thing in the flat itself is lock for toilet door may need oiling.

  Great location in the centre of Cologne; Dom, major visitor attractions, museums, art galleries, the river, Altstadt, pubs, cafés and shops available on foot within five minutes. Very large apartment with all amenities, clean and tidy, quiet. Fresh butter and complimentary beers in the fridge!
  
  What could be improved: There was a collection of homeless people bedding down outside the house. They were polite and did not cause us any trouble but it was initially a surprise. As the apartment is in the city centre, parking can be a problem. There is a relatively inexpensive multi-storey car park at the end of the street. On-street parking is available for residents with permit; I don’t know whether this has been explored by the landlord as an option for visitors.
