The whole Nippes district has this neighborhood vibe – there’s a proper bakery two streets over where locals queue up for Sunday rolls, and the tram stop on Neusser Straße gets you anywhere you need to go without the hassle of driving (parking around here is typical German tight, just so you know). The maisonette setup actually works really well – you get that sense of having your own little house rather than just another hotel room. The stairs between levels creak a bit, but honestly, it adds to the character. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night; these old German buildings have thick walls, and since you’re tucked away from the main roads, you can actually sleep with the windows open in summer. The 8.5 rating makes sense when you experience it – it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but everything you need is there and works the way it should.   Die Zimmer waren sehr schön mit einer sehr ruhigen Lage .
  Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Küche gut eingerichtet.

  What could be improved: Die Treppe zwischen EG und OG, ist sehr sehr steil, eher als Treppenleiter zu bezeichnen.
  Das Geländer war locker und lawede, verschiedene Teile des Geländes waren nur zusammengesteckt und haben sich beim anfassen gelöst. Daher konnte man die Treppe nur sehr vorsichtig benutzen.

  Propriétaire avenant, volontaire et il nous a donné de bons conseils. L'endroit est calme et l'appartement est douillet. Très bonne literie. Le salon avec baie vitrée donne sur le jardin et n'a aucun vis à vis. C'est ce qui m'avait beaucoup plu sur les photos.
  
  What could be improved: Il manquait quelques petits nécessaires de cuisine mais rien de dramatique. Nous n'avions pas de café et le propriétaire nous en a donné lors de sa visite pour vérifier que nous étions bien installés. Donc au final, nous n'avons manqué de rien.

  The house is welcoming, spacious and well organized. The groundfloor has kitchen and bathroom and the veranda is really cosy and nice, although we didn't have time to use it.
  The kitchen is big and with everything needed to easily cook for all. A dishwasher makes it easier then!
  The shower is big and comfortable.
  Bedrooms are upstairs under the roof, that gives a holiday taste to the whole house.
  You can park in the propery, so super easy.
  You check-in/out in with a keybox, and we find this a top possibility.
  Supermarkets open until late are very close, and this is also a must.
  The surrounding area is very nice, just a bit far from Köhln.
  For foreigners, please note that most cities in Germany have the green ticket for the car (easy to get from a TÜV) and the apartment is inside the green area

  Very well located, easy to reach by car. Spacious bedroom, cozy lounge. Kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is ok.
