The kitchenettes are actually functional, which is rarer than you’d think in these short-term places. I ended up cooking breakfast a couple mornings because there’s a decent Edeka just down the street, and the coffee maker didn’t make that terrible burnt taste you get in most hotel rooms. The 7.3 rating makes sense to me – it’s not fancy, but it does what it promises. The beds are firm (maybe too firm for some people), and the WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, which already puts it ahead of half the places I’ve stayed in Germany.

There’s this little Turkish place around the corner that makes incredible döner – I probably went there three times in four days – and you can walk to the S-Bahn station in about ten minutes if you want to head into Cologne proper. The thing is, most people think they need to stay right in the Altstadt or near the cathedral, but honestly? Taking the train in gives you a better sense of how the city actually functions, plus you’re not dealing with drunk tourists stumbling around at 2 AM. Parking was easy too, which anyone who’s driven in German cities will appreciate. The staff speaks decent English, though they seemed more comfortable in German – nothing wrong with that, just something to know. Check-in was straightforward, no drama about arrival times or key cards not working. You know what struck me most? The place felt lived-in rather than sterile, like someone’s actual apartment rather than a corporate housing unit. For three stars and this price point, especially if you’re flying in or out of Cologne, it’s a solid choice that won’t give you any unpleasant surprises.

  Die Unterkunft bot sehr viel Platz, um einen schönen Aufenthalt zu genießen. Die Küche war groß und großzügig mit jeglichen Kochutensilien ausgestattet. Ebenso war Salz und Backpapier vorhanden. Die Zimmer waren ebenso gut geschnitten und boten ausreichend Platz. Die Wohnung verfügt zusätzlich über zwei Bäder mit Dusche und Badewanne.
  
  What could be improved: In Fußläufiger Nähe befindet sich eine Bushaltestellen, mit der S-Bahnhöfe angepeilt werden können. So war es sehr unkompliziert in die Stadt zu gelangen. Die Fahrt mit den Öffentlichen Verlehrsmitteln dauerte ca. 50 – 60 Minuten, war aber trotzdem nicht weiter schlimm und es gibt auch die Möglichkeit sich einen Uber zu bestellen.

  Güzel ısınıyordu ve otopark sorunu yoktu.

  Banyoda kalorifer petekleri toz icindeydi.
  Banyo çöpünde poşet yoktu, şampuan ve yeterince havlu yoktu. Mutfak raflar ve ekmek kizartma makinesi toz icindeydi . Mutfak dolabında küflenmiş bir meyve vardı ama kavunmu papaya mi anlasilamayacak derece de eskiydi.
